There are many points of interest in Luxembourg. The most famous of them all is the Grand Duke’s palace. It is the official house of the Grand Duke, but it is only opened to tourists during the summer. The St. Michael’s church is one of the oldest churches in the world constructed in 987 A.D. It was partly destroyed during a war, but it was rebuilt in 1684. There are outdoor markets in the midtown where you can get the taste of the local cuisine. The Vin-den castle is over a million years old. It is still beautifully preserved and worth viewing. The Grundy is a collection of stone houses that were directly built from cutting rocks. It is present deep inside the gorge. It also contains terraced gardens, pubs and restaurants along with vineyards and a miniature golf course.

Luxembourg has all the modern transportation facilities. It has a very well-designed road, rail and air services. Their train services include the high-speed train TGV. It has a well-maintained road, and every city in Luxembourg is connected to the capital. Since it is a landlocked country, it does not have any waterways.

Moving around Luxembourg is easy. Though it is a big place and has good facilities of public buses and trains connecting every part of it. The city bus has facilities in over 25 lines, and the duration between two consecutive buses is about 5 to 20 minutes depending on the traffic. The main train station has the best connections to every major place in Luxembourg. All the trains run on electricity. The fuel prices in Luxemburg are cheaper compared to other parts of the world. No money is charged for the freeway, but the traffic law in Luxembourg is very strict. Always fasten your seat belts and follow all the traffic rules while driving your car. The Fidel Airport is the International airport of Luxembourg located 4 kilometers away from the Luxembourg City. While in Luxembourg, your best option to travel is by the train.
